The Housing Committee approved in the first reading amendments to the law "On Credit Information Exchange"
The initiator of the draft law was the Chairperson of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, Benazir Nurlanova, presented information on this issue.
According to her, the main goal of the draft law is to improve the legislation related to credit information, as well as to create more favorable conditions for financial inclusion, which will ensure access for citizens and entrepreneurs to credit resources.
Among the proposed changes is the reduction of the retention periods for credit information, which, in turn, should simplify borrowers' access to loans, reduce the burden on the banking system, and promote the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
