The Housing Committee approved amendments to the law "On Investments" in the first reading.
Choro Seyitova, the First Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, reported that the purpose of this draft law is to eliminate legal discrepancies that arose after the adoption of the main law in 2025.
During the discussion, deputies Dastan Bekeshev and Kamila Talieva expressed the opinion that the law "On Investments in the Kyrgyz Republic," which was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh in June 2025, was developed too quickly and without proper analysis. Now, according to them, amendments are necessary.
The deputies emphasized the importance of thorough study and broad discussion of draft laws concerning such significant issues to avoid the need for subsequent adjustments.
