The Iranian leadership has also put its Aerospace Forces and Air Defense in a state of heightened combat readiness.
While U.S. President Donald Trump is contemplating the possibility of military intervention in response to the suppression of anti-government protests in Iran, the Pentagon has already begun reducing personnel at the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.
According to CBS, the withdrawal of some American troops is a preventive measure.
The Al Udeid Air Base is considered one of the key U.S. military points in the Middle East, where around 10,000 military and civilian personnel are permanently stationed.
In response to potential aggression from the U.S., Iranian authorities are threatening attacks on American bases in the region.

According to BBC information, part of the British military contingent is also being withdrawn from Al Udeid Air Base.
Additionally, the UK has decided to temporarily close its embassy in Tehran, which will operate remotely.
According to a representative of the British government, the ambassador and all staff of the diplomatic mission have been evacuated due to the assessment of the situation and the priority of staff safety.
This week, Trump stated that the U.S. is ready to take "very tough measures" against Iran if the authorities execute protesters.
The president also noted that, according to information from his administration, "killings in Iran have stopped, there are no more execution plans."
When asked by the press about the possibility of military action, Trump replied, "We will observe and monitor the developments."
Iran, for its part, warned that it would respond to any actions by the U.S. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, speaking on Fox News, reminded that Trump made a mistake last year by ordering the bombing of Iran, adding: "Know that if you try to repeat this failed practice again, the result will be the same."
The Iranian human rights organization HRANA, based in the U.S., reports that 2,403 people have died during the protests, and at least 18,434 protesters have been arrested.
The organization calls on UN member states to recognize the crimes committed by law enforcement agencies during the protests.
