Athletes from the Jaiyl District and Kara-Balta Won Prizes at the International Tournament in Strike Grappling
The competitions were held in three categories: A — for beginners, B — for intermediate level athletes, and C — for professionals.
About 500 athletes from all regions of Kyrgyzstan participated in the tournament, along with representatives from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
20 athletes from the Jayil district competed under the guidance of coach Syrgak Zhaparkulov and achieved the following results:
- Ali Sayipzhanov took 3rd place in the weight category up to 34 kg,
- Ayat Tabaldiev also became a bronze medalist in the weight category 41 kg,
- Bekzat Abilov won gold in the 50 kg category, becoming the champion,
- In the weight category 66 kg, Bekbolot Patpidinov became a silver medalist, while Nurel Nurlanov took 3rd place,
- Erbolot Apsatarov was second in the 72 kg category.
Kara-Balta was represented by 7 athletes from the "Manas" sports complex, who also competed under the guidance of the head jiu-jitsu coach Almaz Mambetov. Six of them managed to win medals for their club, and Almaz Mambetov became the champion in his age category.
Berdaali Toktogulov took 2nd place in the 38 kg weight class.
In the 44 kg category, Nurel Omurbekov became a bronze medalist, while Elmirek Sadyrbekov confidently took 1st place in the 43 kg weight class, continuing his winning streak without a single defeat over the past two years.
Duyshonalyy uulu Ramazan took 3rd place in the category over 50 kg.
Arriet Zholdoshov became the champion in the weight category 66 kg among boys under 18 years old, while Ali Akhmedov took first place in the category 69 kg among boys under 16 years old.
All winners and prizeholders received commemorative medals and diplomas from the international federation of strike grappling.
