Another Kyrgyzstani, Zalkarbek Tabaldiev, has won the gold at the Yasar Dogu tournament.

At the international wrestling tournament Yasar Dogu, held in Antalya, the gold medal was won by Kyrgyzstani Zalkarbek Tabaldiev.

Competing in the under 70 kilograms category, the athlete began his path to victory from the quarter-finals.

Tabaldiev achieved three confident victories over wrestlers from Turkey, which allowed him to reach the final, where his opponent was Islam Dudayev, the bronze medalist of the Olympic Games in Paris, representing Albania.

In the final match, Zalkarbek won with a score of 7:4 and claimed the gold medal. It should be noted that he is the current champion of Kyrgyzstan.

Another athlete from our country, Rustam Kaharov, who also competed in this weight category, won a bronze medal.

Earlier, Kyrgyzstani Bilol Sharip uulu became the gold medalist in the under 65 kilograms category at the same Yasar Dogu tournament.
