Justice Minister Ayaz Bayetov reported that the draft law proposes to reduce the number of types of awards from 46 to 20, including honorary titles and state prizes.
Among the changes planned, the following exceptions from the system of state awards and honorary titles are highlighted:
- The Order of "Danaker" and "Erdik" of the III degree;
- The honorary title "People's Poet of the Kyrgyz Republic";
- The Honorary Certificate of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- Honorary titles of the second category "Deserved".
- The functions of the institution of Honorary Certificates and the titles "Deserved" will be transferred to the Cabinet of Ministers.
