Today, at a meeting of the Central Election Commission (CEC), a decision was made to prematurely revoke the mandate of deputy Eldar Sulaymanov.

It is reported that the deputy himself submitted a statement to resign from his powers.

Eldar Sulaymanov, born on July 3, 1985, is the son of Nurlan Sulaymanov, who held the position of Minister of Transport and Communications. He represented the political party "Ata-Jurt Kyrgyzstan" in the Jogorku Kenesh of the VII convocation and was also elected to the VIII convocation of parliament from the multi-mandate electoral district No. 5 (Jalal-Abad region).

At the beginning of 2023, Eldar Sulaymanov's name was actively discussed in connection with accusations made by his ex-wife Asel Azamatova, who claimed that she had been subjected to domestic violence. The Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek confirmed that an investigation is being conducted in this case. In response to the accusations, Sulaymanov stated that they are one-sided and require a legal assessment.

Among political circles, there is also discussion about his possible involvement in collecting signatures for the so-called "Appeal 75."
