Suimanov noted that the accusations are one-sided and require legal analysis.
“The unfounded accusations being made are one-sided and need a legal assessment. If I were to present my version of events, it might change the opinion of those who condemn me. Nevertheless, I do not intend to do so. I ask you not to rush to conclusions without knowing the whole picture,” he wrote.
The parliamentarian noted that at this time there is no court ruling recognizing him guilty of any offenses.
“I urge the public and the media not to make premature conclusions until the relevant authorities have made a decision,” Eldar Suimanov added.
He expressed his readiness for a full and objective examination of the situation that has arisen.
Earlier, Asel Azamatova reported multiple instances of violence by Eldar Suimanov. The Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek stated that an investigation is underway in this case, and a protection order has been issued to the woman.
