Kyrgyz Medical Professionals Abroad Ready to Help Domestic Doctors and Even Return

An online meeting for experience exchange took place at the ministry
Recently, an online conference was held at the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan with the participation of Kyrgyz medical specialists working in countries such as Germany, the USA, the UK, Russia, and the Middle Eastern states. The meeting was led by Deputy Ministers Bakytbek Kadyraliev and Temirbek Erkinov, as reported by the press service of the ministry.
The main objective of the event was to discuss the exchange of professional experience, international medical practices, training of personnel, digitalization of the healthcare system, and the role of compatriots working abroad in the development of medicine in the country.
During the discussion, participants shared their experiences working in the best clinics in the world and proposed ideas for improving the healthcare system in Kyrgyzstan. These included the implementation of modern technologies such as bronchoscopy and NGS diagnostics, digital solutions, as well as improvements in oncology, pulmonology, transplantology, and anesthesiology assistance. Issues related to hemodialysis, mobile clinics, and simplifying licensing for doctors were also addressed.
Most of the proposals concerned staffing issues. Participants expressed their readiness to assist in training Kyrgyz doctors, organizing internships, conducting lectures and expert reports, as well as attracting foreign professors for surgeries and master classes. Additionally, conditions that could facilitate the return of specialists to Kyrgyzstan and their participation in professional projects were discussed.
