Kyrgyz doctors from Europe and the USA are ready to participate in the development of healthcare in the Kyrgyz Republic

An online conference was held at the Ministry of Health with the participation of Kyrgyz doctors working in countries such as Germany, the USA, the UK, Russia, and Middle Eastern states.
According to the ministry's information, the meeting was organized under the leadership of Deputy Ministers Bakytbek Kadyraliev and Temirbek Erkinov.

The main goal of the event was to exchange experiences, discuss international medical practices, prepare personnel, digitize healthcare, and consider ways for Kyrgyz specialists abroad to participate in improving the healthcare system in Kyrgyzstan.

During the discussion, participants shared their experiences working in leading medical institutions around the world and proposed various initiatives for the development of healthcare in the country. Among them were the implementation of new technologies such as bronchoscopy and NGS diagnostics, digital solutions, improving oncological and pulmonological care, issues related to hemodialysis, creating mobile clinics, and simplifying licensing and training procedures for doctors.

Many proposals concerned human resources, and participants expressed their readiness to support the training of Kyrgyz doctors, organize internships, conduct lectures and expert reports, as well as attract professors for surgeries and master classes. Additionally, conditions for the return of specialists to their homeland and their participation in professional projects were discussed.

The deputy ministers noted that the involvement of foreign specialists is an important resource for the development of the national healthcare system, and a system for further experience exchange will be created. The possibility of holding both in-person and online meetings in countries with a high concentration of Kyrgyz doctors, participation in the Mirakhimov Readings, and involvement in digital and personnel reforms were also discussed.
In conclusion, Bakytbek Kadyraliev thanked all participants on behalf of the Minister of Health Kanibek Dosmambetov, emphasizing that the state is interested in maintaining professional ties with compatriots abroad. "The shortage of personnel in medicine is one of the main problems for the country. We are open to cooperation and intend to seek practical solutions that will allow us to attract experience and technologies in the interests of our patients," he noted.

The Ministry of Health plans to make such meetings regular, continuing work on creating conditions for the participation of foreign specialists in scientific, educational, and clinical activities, including internship and repatriation programs for medical personnel.
