The president issued a decree regarding this initiative
Sadyr Japarov, the president of Kyrgyzstan, has initiated a national campaign that provides the opportunity for free replacement of driver's licenses that were previously issued without an expiration date. This information was announced by the president's press service.
The campaign was launched on January 15 and will continue until a new decision is made by the authorized state body.
As part of the initiative, old licenses can be exchanged for new standard documents.
It is important to note that for citizens who are exchanging licenses, a medical certificate in form 083 is not required, except for those obtaining a license for the first time.
The replacement of documents will be carried out by the State Center for Registration of Vehicles and Drivers, which operates under the president's management. All costs for the issuance and registration of licenses will be borne by the center. The personalization of documents will be performed by the state institution "Kyzmat".
