In the residential complex, it was proposed to give inspectors half of the fine amount for traffic violations.

At the parliamentary meeting on January 15, Deputy Marlen Mamataliyev proposed an initiative for traffic police inspectors to receive 50% of the fine amount for traffic violations they record.

During the discussion of amendments to various codes and laws that tighten responsibility for traffic rule violations, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Oktay Urmambetov noted that currently, inspectors receive only 10% of the fine as a reward. Mamataliyev insists that this amount should be increased.

He emphasized: "Inspectors should receive not 10%, but 30% or even 50%. We are ready to submit an official proposal and hope for support. Increasing fines for drivers is the right step, but there is a risk of corruption. For example, if the fine is 70,000 soms, a driver may try to persuade the inspector to take half of that amount. Increasing the bonus to 50% will help avoid such situations, as inspectors' salaries will depend on it," Mamataliyev stated, adding that he is ready to propose this change at the second reading.

Additionally, the deputy proposed a review of the career advancement system for inspectors, noting: "There are certain timeframes for promotions. Is it possible to reduce these timeframes if a certain number of violations are identified?"

Deputy Minister Urmambetov agreed that increasing bonuses to 50% could serve as a good incentive for employees. He also noted that a starting inspector receives a salary of 62,000 soms.
