More than 500 million soms will be spent on the organization of the Nomad Games. The Minister of Culture shared details about the preparation for the WIG.

The opening and closing ceremonies of the VI World Nomad Games are scheduled for September 1-6 in Bishkek at the new "Bishkek-Arena" stadium. The President is actively involved in organizing this event, leading a working group that also includes the President's Chief of Staff Kanaybek Tumanbaev. This information was shared in an interview with the Minister of Culture Mirbek Mambetaliev for AKIpress.

The Minister of Culture noted that meetings to prepare for the Nomad Games take place almost every two weeks. He also added that the opening will coincide with the SCO summit and Kyrgyzstan's Independence Day, which gives this event special significance.

According to Mambetaliev, the Ministry of Culture plans to allocate more than 500 million soms for the organization of the Nomad Games themselves.

"Traditionally, events will take place at Issyk-Kul. An ethnovillage will be built, and equestrian competitions will be held at the racetrack. In addition, we plan to involve the Center for Nomadic Civilization in the village of Ornok, and the 'Rukh Ordo' complex will also be utilized," the minister said.
