The new speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh will focus on digitalization
At today’s session of the Jogorku Kenesh, Marlen Mamataliyev, recently elected as speaker, presented his plans for modernizing the work of the parliament to the deputies.
In particular, he announced his intention to implement digital technologies: deputies will be provided with tablets, and interaction with the government and citizens will be partially moved online. Additionally, public reception offices for residents of the country are planned to be opened in the parliament building.
According to Mamataliyev, such measures will help simplify work processes, speed up decision-making, and make the parliament more accessible to the population.
It is worth noting that Marlen Mamataliyev was elected as speaker just a week ago. Today, he held a plenary session in his new capacity and outlined the key areas of his work.
