Deputy Eldar Sulaymanov from the Jogorku Kenesh has decided to prematurely resign his mandate. According to information obtained from sources in the parliament, he has already submitted the corresponding application.
The reasons for this step remain unknown at the moment, as the former deputy has not provided any official comments.
According to the same sources, it is expected that other deputies may also resign their mandates in the near future, although their names have not yet been disclosed.
It is worth noting that earlier, the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of Kyrgyzstan planned to consider the issue of the possibility of depriving Sulaymanov of his mandate.
After a possible deprivation of Eldar Sulaymanov, his seat in the Jogorku Kenesh for the Aravan multi-mandate electoral district No. 5 may be taken by Azizbek Abdullaev.
