During the meeting, the speaker highlighted key tasks aimed at increasing the efficiency of the parliament's work. In particular, he emphasized the importance of digitalization and modernization of internal processes.
As Marlen Mamataliyev noted, a significant amount of paper documents is still used in legislative activities and document flow, making it necessary to reconsider existing approaches.
“We realize that there is still a lot of paper in our legislative activities. Therefore, it is important to reduce its consumption and focus on digitalization,” he emphasized.
The speaker instructed the need to strengthen efforts to implement modern digital technologies and optimize document flow within the parliament.
Today, Marlen Mamataliyev was elected as the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh. His candidacy was supported by 77 deputies, while five opposed.
