The deputy considers the position of the "Kulikov" company on the state language to be incorrect.

At the parliament meeting, Baktyyar Kalpaev expressed dissatisfaction with the position of the "Kulikov" company regarding the use of the state language. He noted that the situation surrounding this firm and the activist who initiated the lawsuit is actively being discussed in society.

According to the deputy, the blogger who approached the company with a request for services in the state language has been under house arrest for nine months. "Is it really a crime for citizens to demand services in the state language?" the MP questioned.

In response, the representative of the General Prosecutor's Office, Umutkan Konkubaeva, stated that it is necessary to study the relevant documents to determine the presence of a crime.

Kalpaev emphasized that the company should consider the laws aimed at developing the Kyrgyz language. "The president speaks in the state language from the UN podium, and the head of the GKNB calls on investors to use Kyrgyz. I believe that the company should show respect for our country and its language, as well as actively contribute to its development," he added.
