During the anti-corruption campaign, Kubanychbek Kongantiev, who previously held the position of deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, was detained. This was reported by the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).
According to the data collected by the investigation, Kongantiev is suspected of creating illegal schemes related to the management of land plots, using both individuals and legal entities with whom he was associated.
As a result of the investigative actions taken, the former deputy was arrested under Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code and placed in the temporary detention facility of the SCNS.
Currently, investigative activities are ongoing.
The SCNS urges all citizens and employees of government agencies to avoid corrupt practices, refrain from bribery, and strictly adhere to the legislation and anti-corruption norms, thereby contributing to the formation of a law-abiding and transparent society.
