According to the agency, the detained individual was M.N.E., who held the position of masul (leader) in the Suzak district of this extremist organization.
This person had connections with the leadership of "Hizb ut-Tahrir" in Kyrgyzstan and representatives of the organization's international structure. For several years, he had been spreading extremist ideas, recruiting new followers, and collecting funds from group members to finance their activities.
As part of the initiated criminal case, the detainee has been placed in the SCNS detention center, where a comprehensive set of operational and investigative measures is being conducted to identify the structures of cells and other criminal connections.
