In Nooken, a women's sewing school was used for recruitment into "Hizb ut-Tahrir"
The investigation claims that the girls were engaged in labor activities under the pretext of learning sewing and tailoring. During these classes, the ideology of "Hizb ut-Tahrir" was subtly introduced to them. It is reported that the group's leaders actively participated in closed Telegram channels, where they disseminated banned materials and discussed plans to establish a caliphate in Kyrgyzstan.
During a search, significant volumes of prohibited literature were found with the suspects, as well as electronic devices, including computers, flash drives, and mobile phones.
Since January 29, five participants of the women's wing have been placed in the GKNB detention center. The investigation is ongoing.
The GKNB reminds that participation of citizens in the activities of religious extremist organizations and the dissemination of extremist materials may lead to criminal liability.
