The conflict that led to the tragedy


A terrible incident occurred in the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region, where a man killed his wife. This was reported by representatives of the regional internal affairs department.

According to law enforcement agencies, on January 3, a call was received in the duty station from a 33-year-old local resident. He reported that around 19:55, during a family quarrel and against the backdrop of personal conflicts, he committed the murder of his wife, who was born in 1997.

This case was registered in the Unified Register of Crimes under Article 122 of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan. A criminal case was soon initiated.

Police officers conducted an inspection of the crime scene, during which a kitchen knife, the weapon of the crime, was seized.

During the investigation, it was revealed that the suspect returned home on January 2 after working in Russia. The next day, a conflict arose, during which he inflicted several stab wounds to his wife's chest, from which she died.

On January 4, 2026, by the decision of the Suzak district court, the suspect was taken into custody.
