Resident of Suzak District confessed to the murder of his wife

In the Jalal-Abad region, in the Suzak district, a tragic event occurred involving the murder of a 28-year-old woman. The suspect in this crime is her 35-year-old husband.

According to information provided by the Internal Affairs Department of the Jalal-Abad region, the man himself initiated a call to the duty station of the Suzak District Department of Internal Affairs on January 3, 2026, at 19:55, where he confessed to the crime.

Investigative authorities found that shortly before the crime, the suspect had returned from Russia. A conflict in the family led to him stabbing his wife multiple times in the chest with a kitchen knife, and she died from her injuries at the scene.

The case has been registered in the Unified Register of Crimes under the article "Murder." A kitchen knife was found at the crime scene, and a forensic examination has been appointed for further investigation.

The suspect was arrested on January 4 by a court decision in the Suzak district, and investigative actions are ongoing.
