In Suzak, a man confessed to the murder of his wife

In the Jalal-Abad region, in the Suzak district, a tragedy occurred: a 28-year-old woman became a victim of her husband. This was reported by the local police press service.

According to law enforcement agencies, on January 3, 2026, at 19:55, a call was received on the emergency service number 102 from a man born in 1990. He confessed that as a result of a conflict with his wife, born in 1997, he killed her.

This incident was registered in the Unified Register of Crimes under Article 122 of the Criminal Code ("Murder"), after which a criminal investigation was initiated.

The investigative group conducted an examination of the crime scene, during which a kitchen knife was seized as material evidence. A forensic medical examination was also appointed.

It was established that the suspect, who returned from work in the Russian Federation on January 2, 2026, during a quarrel with his wife, inflicted several knife wounds to her chest, which led to her death.

On January 4, 2026, the Suzak district court decided to place the suspect in custody.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
