The video captured an SUV thief
According to information from law enforcement agencies, on December 30, 2025, at approximately 03:30, a signal was received at the duty unit of the Internal Affairs Department of the city of Balykchy via the 112 service. A local resident, S.A., born in 1996, reported that his black Mitsubishi Pajero had been stolen from a parking lot.
This incident was registered, and a criminal case was initiated under Article 211 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the theft of motor vehicles.
During operational search activities, officers of the Balykchy City Department of Internal Affairs were able to locate the stolen vehicle within the city; however, the suspect managed to escape while attempting to cover up the traces of his crime.
Later, the suspect was detained — K.D., born in 1992, residing in the Ton district.
During the preliminary interrogation, he fully admitted his guilt, which was also confirmed by other evidence.
Currently, investigative activities are ongoing.
