On the Night Before Christmas in the Chui Region, a Man Sustained Multiple Stab Wounds from a Relative

According to the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Department of the Chuy Region, a suspect in an attempted murder was detained on January 8.

On January 7 at 2:15 AM, an incident occurred in the village of Pervomayskoye, as a result of which the victim, a resident of the region, called the emergency line 102 to report knife wounds. He was taken to the National Surgical Center named after M.M. Mamakeev.

The investigative-operational group of the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Ata District that arrived at the scene found that a quarrel between a man and his relative led to the latter using a kitchen knife, inflicting multiple wounds to the neck, shoulder, chest, and lateral walls of the abdomen.

The incident was classified under Article 37-122 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning attempted murder. According to preliminary data, there were hostile relations between the conflict participants.

The suspect, born in 2003, was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is currently ongoing.
