Donor blood is needed for people affected by the fire that occurred the day before at the capital's nursing home. This was reported by the Republican Center for Health Promotion, citing information from the Republican Blood Center.

It is noted that during the holiday season, there is an increased demand for donor blood, as many donors are unable to come due to weekends and vacations, while the demand for blood continues to rise.

Those wishing to help can visit the following address: Bishkek, Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue, 60.

The blood center will accept donors during the holiday days — January 7, 8, and 9, from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
It is important to have an identification document with you.

For a successful blood donation, it is recommended to avoid consuming fatty, fried, and dairy foods before the procedure.

We remind you that on January 6, a fire occurred in the room of a separate palliative care unit, resulting in the deaths of two seriously ill patients. It is known that 14 patients were hospitalized.

A criminal case has also been initiated regarding the incident.
