The Ministry of Transport of Kyrgyzstan announced which roads will be repaired

According to information from the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan, repair work on strategically important and local roads is planned for 2026 as part of the construction season.

Under the article "State Capital Investments," it is planned to repair and construct 700 km of roads, and according to the Title List — 457 km. Changes and additions may arise during the implementation of the projects.

Currently, the construction of several facilities is ongoing at the expense of the state budget, including: the Balykchy-Bokonbaev-Karakol road, Naryn-Bayotov, Ala-Buka-Zhany-Bazar-Kirovka, and Safarovka-Barpy.

Work will also continue on the following projects:

* An additional 5 structures on the alternative North-South road;

* The national significance road Barskoon-Bedel;

* The northern bypass road of the capital Bishkek;

* The Lebedinovka-GES-5 road;

* Bishkek-Kant;

* Arashan-Chunkurchak;

* Bishkek-Kuntuu-Shopokov.

In addition, the following works will continue as part of investment projects:

* Reconstruction of the "Suusamyr-Talas-Taraz" road (Phase IV) — 93 km;

* The section from Korumdu to Balbay Baatyr — 79.3 km;

* The section from the village of Barskoon to Karakol — 75 km.

New initiatives include:

* Profsoyuznaya Street — 8.5 km;

* The road to the new Osh market — 8.7 km;

* The bypass road around Cholpon-Ata — 15 km;

* Laying asphalt concrete on a 14.5 km section of the Bozuchuk-Jyrgalan road in the Ak-Suu district;

* Design and construction of an alternative 8.5 km road to the "Jyrgalan" ski base ("Ala-Tuu Resort"), as well as access and technological roads;

* Reconstruction of 15 km of the Jeti-Oguz-Koysary road (Jeti-Oguz resort);

* Design and construction of the Tamdyk-Kishemish-Donen-Bashy road for 51 km.
