In 1996, a land plot of 0.34 hectares, where warehouse facilities were located, was illegally transferred to private hands. This became known thanks to an inspection conducted by the Talas city prosecutor's office, during which violations of land legislation were identified.
As a result of the prosecutor's measures, the plot was returned to state ownership. The value of the returned property, according to information from the General Prosecutor's Office of Kyrgyzstan, amounts to 16,948,600 soms.
