As a result of a check on compliance with land legislation conducted by the Prosecutor's Office of the Issyk-Kul region, facts of illegal transfer of land plots into private hands were identified. This information was received from the General Prosecutor's Office.
During the inspection, covering the J. Abdrakhmanov rural administration and the Cholpon-Ata city hall, it was established that from 1997 to 2004 there were violations of legislation during the transfer of the following plots:
— 0.08 ha belonging to the Cholpon-Ata city hall;
— a municipal bus station facility with an area of 139.4 m² in the Ananyev rural district;
— a land plot with an area of 0.16 ha;
— 4.0 ha of agricultural land allocated to the public fund "SOS Children's Village Cholpon-Ata."
Thanks to the actions of the prosecutor's office, plots with a total area of 4.26 ha, valued at 167 million 568 thousand soms, have been returned to state ownership.
