The Housing Committee approved in the third reading a loan and grant from the IBRD for $31.79 million

- At the meeting of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security, and Migration, the draft law "On Ratification of the Agreement on Financing and the Grant Agreement for the 'Phase 1 for the Kyrgyz Republic' Project under the 'One Health' Program" was discussed and approved. This project aims to prevent pandemics, strengthen food security, and protect ecosystems in Central Asia. The agreement was signed on July 11, 2025, in Bishkek between the Kyrgyz Republic and the International Development Association/International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, acting as the administrator of the Trust Fund for Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness, and Response.

The main goal of the draft law is to strengthen the health of the population and animals, as well as to improve the environmental conditions in the country.

As part of the implementation of the "Phase 1 for the Kyrgyz Republic" project, it is planned to provide loan funds amounting to 30 million dollars according to the Financing Agreement and grant funds totaling 1.79 million dollars according to the Grant Agreement.

The loan will be issued for a term of 50 years with a 10-year grace period and a zero interest rate.
