- This project aims to prevent pandemics, ensure the resilience of food systems, and preserve the health of ecosystems in Central Asia. The agreement was signed on July 11, 2025, in Bishkek between the Kyrgyz Republic and the International Development Association/International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which acts as the administrator of the Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness, and Response Trust Fund.
The main objective of the bill is to improve the health of the population and animals, as well as to protect the environment in the country.
As part of the implementation of the 'Phase 1 for the Kyrgyz Republic' project, the financing agreement provides for loan funds amounting to 30 million dollars, as well as grant funds amounting to 1.79 million dollars.
The loan terms include a duration of 50 years, with a grace period of 10 years and an interest rate of "0".
