Syrgak Kadyrovich Berdikozhoev has been appointed chairman of the State Guard Service under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic (SGS). The corresponding decree was signed by President Sadyr Japarov.
The creation of the SGS took place on the basis of the 9th service of the State Committee for National Security by the decree of the president.
The State Guard Service is a special state body that is subordinate to and accountable to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. It is part of the national security system of the country and carries out protective measures to ensure the safety of protected persons and facilities within the framework of its competence established by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
3. It is established that:
– the chairman of the State Guard Service is appointed and dismissed by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic;
– the deputies of the chairman of the State Guard Service are appointed and dismissed by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic upon the recommendation of the chairman of the State Guard Service.
