On February 10, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, signed a decree relieving Tashiev of his position as Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security.
On the same day, a decree "On Measures to Improve the State Security System of the Kyrgyz Republic" was signed, according to which the State Guard Service under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic was established based on the 9th service of the State Committee for National Security.
