Today, February 10, Sadyr Japarov signed a new decree titled "On Measures to Improve the State Security System of the Kyrgyz Republic," as reported by the president's press service.

According to the decree:1. A State Security Service is being established, which will operate under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and will be based on the 9th service of the State Committee for National Security.

2. This service will be a special state body, subordinate to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, responsible for carrying out security measures aimed at ensuring the safety of protected persons and facilities in accordance with current legislation.
