In Kyrgyzstan, the import of more than 15,000 liters of kumys from Russia was not permitted.

At the checkpoint "Ak-Tilek" in the Chui region, an illegal attempt to import 15,600 liters of kumis from Russia was recorded. The cargo was returned, as reported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Veterinary control inspectors conducted an inspection and found that the packaging lacked a production date, which violates the veterinary and sanitary requirements of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In connection with this situation, acts were drawn up prohibiting the crossing of the state border of Kyrgyzstan for this cargo. As a result, the goods were sent back to Russia through the "Ak-Tilek" checkpoint.
The veterinary and agricultural services continue to actively work on ensuring safe products for the population of the country.
