Almost 12 tons of Russian sausage were not allowed for import into Kyrgyzstan
According to information from the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture, 11,720 kilograms of sausage products were discovered and returned at the border veterinary control point "Ak-Tilek" in the Chuy region, which were attempted to be illegally imported from Russia.
Inspectors working at the point conducted an inspection and identified violations of veterinary and sanitary standards established by the Eurasian Economic Union.
As a result, the necessary documents were drawn up, and the import of this cargo into the territory of Kyrgyzstan was categorically prohibited. Ultimately, the cargo was returned to Russia through the "Ak-Tilek" checkpoint.
