Kyrgyzstan did not allow 15 tons of illegally imported kumys from Russia

Kyrgyzstan did not allow 15 tons of illegally imported kumis from Russia
At the veterinary checkpoint "Ak-Tilek," located in the Chui region, a batch of kumis totaling 15,600 liters was stopped, which had been illegally imported from Russia. This incident was confirmed by the veterinary service responsible for the development of animal husbandry and ensuring the safety of pastures and feed.

During the inspection, inspectors found that the product packaging did not contain a production date, which is a violation of veterinary and sanitary requirements established in Kyrgyzstan. As a result, the necessary reports were drawn up, and the product was prohibited from being imported into the country.

The return of the cargo to Russia was carried out through the "Ak-Tilek" checkpoint.

The agency noted that control over the quality of imported goods will be strengthened, and efforts to ensure food safety for the population will continue.
