Inspections cover markets such as the TRC "Osh Bazaars," "Orto-Sai," "Alamedin," "Dordoy," "Aziz," as well as retail chains "Market," "Globus," "Asia," and other trading places. During these activities, explanatory conversations are held with entrepreneurs about the inadmissibility of unjustified price increases and the importance of adhering to the maximum retail prices set at no more than 680 soms per kilogram of beef and lamb.
In addition, efforts are being made to expand the trade of meat products at affordable prices, including the allocation of trading spaces without intermediaries and the opening of additional sales points.
Starting from January 14, 2026, wholesale meat trading will cease at the Osh market, and a new meat pavilion "Chuygun" will begin operating in the territory of the livestock market "Altyn-Taka." It is intended for the wholesale sale of meat and fully complies with all sanitary and veterinary requirements. Currently, wholesale trading is taking place in this pavilion.
Retail meat sales are also conducted in the same area at the pavilion "Taza Adal Et," where citizens can purchase quality and safe products.
According to the mayor's office, all meat sales points at the Osh market have been relocated to the livestock market "Altyn-Taka." The new meat pavilion "Chuygun" provides residents with quality meat at wholesale and retail prices.
As of now, the current wholesale prices for meat are: lamb — 640–680 soms, beef — 640–680 soms, horse meat — 540–560 soms, while retail prices start from 660 soms.
