At a press conference dedicated to the results of 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, announced that Marat Nuraliev, the former ambassador of the country to Qatar, was dismissed from his position due to violations of the ethical standards for civil servants.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that despite Nuraliev's achievements as a diplomat, the violations of ethical standards were decisive in the decision to dismiss him.

“Marat Nuraliev proved himself to be a good diplomat; however, his actions contradicted the ethical norms established for civil servants. Therefore, we were forced to prepare a proposal for his dismissal. In the future, when appointing diplomats, we will pay special attention to compliance with ethics,” added Kulubaev.

It is worth noting that Nuraliev had held the position of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Qatar since December 2023. The decree on his dismissal was signed by the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, in accordance with paragraph 4 of part 6 of article 70 and article 71 of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic.
