- The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in his address to the leaders of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), indicated that the third key direction of Kazakhstan's presidency in this union in 2026 will be technological progress based on digitalization in both industry and the agro-industrial complex.

As Tokayev noted, "Industry and the agro-industrial complex form the economic foundation of the EAEU member states. Our common task is to deepen and expand cooperation to create products capable of competing in the global market."

Within the framework of the EAEU, mechanisms for financing joint projects in the fields of industry and the agro-industrial complex are already in place. An important aspect is to direct financial resources towards breakthrough innovative initiatives.

A key point is to attract interest in digital solutions and artificial intelligence from each enterprise and farm. To achieve this, it is necessary to create demonstration centers, develop startups in the field of automation, and establish competence centers.

The Eurasian Economic Commission should actively support innovative projects.
