Minister Oruntaev checked the progress of the construction of the IT town "Osh-City": the commissioning of the first blocks is scheduled for the summer of 2026.

- On December 30, 2025, the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services, Nurdin Oruntaev, visited the Osh region during a working trip to check on the progress of the IT town construction as part of the "Osh-City" project, as reported by the ministry.

During the inspection, the minister emphasized the importance of maintaining a high level of quality in construction work and strict adherence to deadlines at every stage of the project implementation.

Currently, active construction work is being carried out at all three stages of the facility, with the commissioning of 22 blocks of the first stage scheduled for the summer of 2026.

It is worth noting that in February 2025, President Sadyr Japarov officially launched the construction of the IT town by laying a time capsule.

The project involves the creation of a large residential complex with a total area of about 1 million square meters, which will include more than 10,000 apartments. The town will also feature the construction of modern general education schools, kindergartens, multi-profile medical institutions, and diagnostic centers.

In addition, sports halls, pedestrian paths, bike lanes, and green areas are planned.
