During the field activities, he assessed the organization of the enumerators' work, interacted with local residents and the enumerators themselves, paying special attention to the quality of the surveys conducted and the readiness of the population to participate in the census.
According to the chairman, residents generally show interest and understanding of the importance of this campaign.
“The agricultural census will provide a complete picture of the state of the agricultural sector, including information on land use, livestock numbers, the structure of agricultural producers, and the technologies used. This data will be fundamental for strategic planning at the state level,” he noted.
The census covers all regions of the country and will take place from March 20 to April 10. Information is being collected by specially trained enumerators using personal interviews and digital technologies.
The National Statistical Committee urges farmers, agricultural producers, and households to actively participate in the census and provide accurate data.
