At a coordination meeting dedicated to the preparation for the agricultural census, Erlis Akunbekov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, appealed to citizens to provide complete and reliable information about the number of livestock.

He emphasized that concealing data on livestock numbers may stem from misunderstandings about the goals of the census and concerns regarding social benefits and taxes.

The Minister noted that accurate data on livestock numbers is critically important for ensuring effective vaccination and organizing veterinary measures.

Thus, he urged citizens to be open in providing information about their livestock farms and land plots.

The agricultural census will take place from March 20 to April 10, with the participation of local authorities and statistical services.

During the census, data will be collected on sown areas, pastures, farm buildings, and the number of livestock and poultry.

The Minister of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan strongly urges citizens to be transparent about their livestock numbers, as first reported by K-News.
