At the "Ak-Tilek" Checkpoint, 56 Tons of Onions from Kazakhstan Were Not Allowed Through
During the phytosanitary quarantine control, a discrepancy was found between the data specified in the phytosanitary certificate and the information in the accompanying shipping documents. As a result, the import of this batch of products into the territory of Kyrgyzstan was deemed impossible, and the cargo was returned to the sender, according to the official statement.
This decision was made in accordance with paragraph 3.7 of the Regulation on the procedure for conducting quarantine phytosanitary control (supervision), established by the Decision of the Customs Union Commission dated June 18, 2010, No. 318, which is in effect in the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The Ministry also reminded importers of the importance of strict compliance with phytosanitary standards when importing agricultural products.
