In response to this remark, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Bakyt Torobaev noted that the Phytosanitary Service is an independent body that carries out oversight at the appropriate level. “Previously, low-quality seeds, often contaminated and without any certificates, were entering the country. However, thanks to effective control, such situations are no longer observed,” he added.
During the meeting, information from the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic regarding preparations for spring field and economic activities in 2026 was also discussed.
