In response to her question, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Bakyt Torobaev noted that previously, dairy plants set a uniform price for the purchase of raw milk.
“For example, the price per liter was 35 soms. Later, it was decided that the cost would depend on the fat content of the milk,” he explained.
Torobaev clarified that one of the dairy plants offers 49.35 soms per liter if the fat content is 4.2%. With a fat content of 3%, the minimum price is 33.82 soms per liter.
He also added that there is another plant that accepts milk at 51.68 soms per liter with a fat content of 4.1% and at 36.47 soms with a fat content of 3%.
“Each dairy plant has its own price table,” he noted.
At this time, information from the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic was also being considered regarding preparations for spring field and economic work in 2026 in the country.
