The use of navigation seals will become mandatory for the transportation of alcoholic and tobacco products.
The system will be implemented for road and rail transport.
Starting from February 11, 2026, the use of navigation seals for the import and export of alcoholic and tobacco products will become mandatory in Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the State Tax Service.
To prepare entrepreneurs for the new requirements, a meeting was held with the participation of representatives from tax and customs authorities, as well as the Ministry of Economy.
Kubanychbek Isabekov, Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service, noted that the meeting was organized to clarify the mechanisms of navigation seals in international trade within the EAEU.
He added that the use of these seals will help ensure the safety of goods during transportation and confirm the compliance of transported goods with documentation, which, in turn, will expedite processes at the border and facilitate the work of entrepreneurs.
Specialists from the State Tax Service and the tracking system operator conducted a detailed briefing on working with navigation seals, providing an opportunity for businesspeople to ask questions.
Kubanychbek Isabekov also reported that, first and foremost, tax service employees will undergo training on the use of the new system so they can advise taxpayers and assist them in adapting to the changes.
The State Tax Service reminded that according to the rules of the Eurasian Economic Union, starting from February 11, 2026, all EAEU countries will begin implementing continuous tracking of cargo transportation using navigation seals.
