GNS: Mandatory Use of Navigation Seals Will Begin on February 11
Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service Kubanychbek Isabekov noted that the purpose of this meeting is to clarify the norms and rules regarding the use of navigation seals within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) to the business community.
The main task of navigation sealing of road transport is to ensure the safety and accuracy of declared goods, which in turn should expedite the border crossing process and ease the burden on businesses.
During the meeting, experts from the State Tax Service and the national operator of the cargo tracking system explained in detail the procedure for applying navigation seals. Business representatives had the opportunity to ask their questions on this topic.
Kubanychbek Isabekov also added that to provide methodological support and further inform taxpayers, training events will be organized for State Tax Service employees on the new tracking system.
As a reminder, according to the EAEU agreement and the decision of the Eurasian Economic Commission, permanent cargo tracking using navigation seals will be introduced in the member countries of the union starting February 11.
This system will be applied for the transportation of alcoholic products, tobacco, and tobacco products by road and rail transport.
