Starting from February 11, 2026, the EAEU will implement tracking of shipments using navigation seals.

Starting February 11, 2026, a new cargo tracking system will be launched in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), which will use navigation seals. This became known thanks to information provided by the State Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.

This initiative is being implemented in accordance with the "Agreement on the Use of Navigation Seals for Tracking Shipments," signed on April 19, 2022. Under this agreement, the State Customs Infrastructure JSC has been designated as the national operator for tracking shipments within the EAEU for the Kyrgyz Republic. Tracking will be carried out by the Monitoring and Analysis Center, which operates around the clock, using a special information system and navigation seals installed on the locking devices of cargo compartments.

The process of installing a navigation seal will take no more than 15 minutes.

With the introduction of this system, the mandatory tracking will apply to the transportation of alcoholic and tobacco products, as well as certain categories of goods that will be defined by the regulations of the Eurasian Economic Commission. Subsequently, it is planned to gradually expand the use of navigation seals to all goods that are moved within mutual trade and customs procedures in the EAEU.

The goal of implementing navigation seals is to increase the transparency of cargo transportation, reduce the number of control procedures, and shorten delivery times for goods by both road and rail transport.

For participants in foreign economic activity, additional information will be available on the official websites of the State Customs Service and the State Customs Infrastructure JSC. Consultations can be obtained by calling the national operator's unified call center number: 1205.
