The Federal Tax Service is preparing to implement a tracking system for alcohol and tobacco starting in 2026.

- A meeting was held at the State Tax Service, where steps were discussed to prepare participants in foreign economic activity for the implementation of a tracking system for shipments using navigation seals. This innovation will come into effect on February 11, 2026.

Present at the event were Deputy Chairmen of the State Tax Service Kubanychbek Isabekov and Azat Almanbetov, as well as representatives from the State Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, and the business community.

As noted by Kubanychbek Isabekov, the main goal of the meeting was to familiarize businesses with the norms and rules regarding the use of navigation seals in export-import operations within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

He added that the primary task of navigation sealing is to ensure the safety and accuracy of declared goods, which should facilitate faster crossing of the state border and reduce the burden on businesses.

In addition, Isabekov announced plans to conduct training events for State Tax Service employees to provide methodological assistance and further inform taxpayers about the new tracking system.

According to the EAEU Agreement on the use of navigation seals and decisions of the Eurasian Economic Commission, from February 11, 2026, permanent tracking of goods transportation using navigation seals will be introduced in the territories of EAEU member countries.

This system will be applied during the transportation of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products by both road and rail transport.
